How To Become A Vice President
If you are a follower of cricket or would just like to know that the game is alive and well in the village, there is a way you can show your support for Ferring Cricket Club by becoming a Vice President.
We have around 50 Vice Presidents, an honorary role open to all, whether you have been connected to the club, have lived in the area for some time or may be new to the village. For a subscription of £10 or, indeed, for as much as you feel able to donate, your name appears on the back of the fixture card. This will be posted to you along with a newsletter before the start of the season.
In addition to our Adult cricket teams, we run a very active Colts’ section for boys and girls aged 7 to 16. Through this, we maintain a strong social aspect to the Club, being keen to interact with the local community.
If you would care to support our Club by becoming a Vice President, simply contact our secretary via the Contact Us page.
We are indebted to our Vice Presidents, who play an essential part in contributing to the Club finances.
All are very welcome to attend any of our matches at the Little Twitten Recreation Ground, Sea Lane, Ferring. Please come along any time during a home fixture for a chat – and ask for a cup of tea!
